Bill Dittmeier, Office of Civil Rights
OCR sprovides technical assistance to help institutions achieve voluntary compliance with the civil rights laws that OCR enforces. An important part of OCR's technical assistance are partnerships designed to develop creative approaches to preventing and addressing discrimination.
ABLETech
The purpose of Oklahoma ABLE Tech is to make assistive technology devices and services more available and accessible to individuals with disabilities and their families. ABLE Tech provides AT through the following four core programs: demonstration centers, short-term equipment loan, AT reutilization, and low interest bank loans for the purchase of AT.
RFB&D
Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic (RFB&D) is the nation’s largest audio textbook library. RFB&D serve 185,000+ members with print disabilities each year through the Learning Through Listening Program. They offer audio textbooks for school, recreational reading and professional pursuits. They also offer specialized playback equipment and software, and training for educators and school administrators.
